Alchemy Uluwatu | Vegan Restaurant

Alchemy Uluwatu is a vibrant vegan restaurant dedicated to serving healthy, delicious, and nourishing plant-based food. We are looking for a passionate and responsible Cook to join our kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook vegan and plant-based dishes according to recipes and company standards.

• Ensure all food is prepared with consistent quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.

• Prepare ingredients and complete mise en place before service.

• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health regulations at all times.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.

• Properly store and label ingredients and monitor food freshness.

• Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently.

• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.

• Follow kitchen SOPs and instructions from the Chef/Senior Kitchen team.

• Assist with receiving and checking the quality of ingredients when required.

• Support other kitchen duties as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Cook, Commis, Demi Chef, or similar kitchen position.

• Experience in a restaurant, café, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred.

• Experience with vegan, vegetarian, or plant-based cuisine is an advantage.

• Good knowledge of food preparation and basic cooking techniques.

• Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety.

• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

• Good teamwork and communication skills.

• Responsible, disciplined, and willing to learn.

• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

• Passionate about food, healthy living, and plant-based cuisine.
