CNC Machining Supervisor

About the role

PT Hansin Technology Indonesia is seeking an experienced CNC Machining Supervisor / Senior CNC Machinist to oversee daily machining operations, perform complex machine setups, optimise machining processes, and support production quality and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate manpower, machines, and materials to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
• Operate Mitsubishi/Fanuc CNC systems and perform complex part setups, program optimisation, and troubleshooting.
• Interpret 2D engineering drawings and ensure machining operations meet dimensional and geometric tolerances.
• Improve machining processes, resolve production issues, and support quality improvement activities.
• Manage workshop 6S standards, equipment condition, and workplace organisation.
• Train and mentor operators, coordinate with other departments, and improve team performance.

About you

• Minimum 5 years of CNC machine setup experience, preferably in small-batch production, prototyping, or non-standard part machining.
• Experienced in machining stainless steel, copper, aluminium, POM, ABS, PEEK, and other engineering materials.
• Proficient in reading 2D engineering drawings, including datums, dimensional tolerances, and geometric tolerances.
• Familiar with UG/NX programming, NC code, and manual modification of post-processor output.
• Strong knowledge of workpiece clamping, fixture design, and 4-axis/5-axis machining.
• Able to optimise machining processes and troubleshoot technical issues independently.
• Experience in production scheduling, team coordination, and performance management.
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work night shifts when required.
• Experience leading a CNC machining team (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to improving productivity and machining quality (preferred).
