Chinese Project Assistant (Mandarin Translator)

About the Role

We are looking for a Chinese-speaking Project Assistant / Translator to support daily project coordination, communication, administration, and on-site activities for interior construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Chinese–Indonesian and Indonesian–Chinese interpretation for daily communication, meetings, and on-site activities.

• Assist with project administration, documentation, scheduling, meeting notes, and follow-up.

• Coordinate with building management, suppliers, vendors, and local partners.

• Assist with project progress monitoring, material checking, and basic construction-related coordination.

• Translate construction-related documents, work instructions, material lists, and other relevant documents.

• Support on-site activities, inspections, transportation, and other project-related tasks.

• Drive for business purposes, including site visits, document/material delivery, and transportation when required.

• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Fluent in Chinese and Indonesian, both spoken and written.

• Previous experience in translation, administration, personal assistance, project coordination, or related roles is preferred.

• Basic understanding of construction, renovation, interior projects, or building materials is an advantage.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Able to communicate with building management, vendors, suppliers, and other external parties.

• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive independently.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

• Responsible, proactive, detail-oriented, and willing to work on-site.

• Willing to work overtime and travel when required.

• Available to join as soon as possible.
