Warehouse Staff (Mandarin Speaker)

About the role

PT Donlim Technology Indonesia is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Staff (Mandarin Speaker) to join our dynamic warehousing and distribution operations. This is a full-time position based in Demak, Central Java. As Warehouse Staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities, managing inventory, and facilitating communication with our Mandarin-speaking partners and clients. Your fluency in Mandarin will be essential in this role, making you a valuable bridge between our operations team and our international stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming goods and materials into the warehouse management system

• Organise and maintain inventory in designated storage areas, ensuring proper labelling and categorisation

• Pick, pack, and prepare items for dispatch in accordance with order specifications

• Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with system records

• Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks, in compliance with safety protocols

• Communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers, partners, and clients to facilitate smooth warehouse operations and resolve any inquiries

• Maintain accurate documentation of warehouse activities, including receipts, shipments, and inventory adjustments

• Ensure the warehouse environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations

• Assist in identifying process improvements and contributing to operational efficiency

What we're looking for

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (both written and spoken) – this is an essential requirement for the role

• Proven experience working in a warehouse, distribution centre, or similar logistics environment

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control practices

• Ability to operate material handling equipment safely and effectively

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping

• Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods

• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Demonstrated commitment to health and safety standards

• Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and external partners

• Knowledge of import/export procedures or experience in international logistics is desirable but not essential
