About the role

This is a Technical Support role focused on the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of generator sets (gensets) to ensure continuous electrical power supply and operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and cooling system checks.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical faults on genset engines, alternators, and control panels.

• Conduct regular test runs and load testing to verify emergency standby system readiness.

• Monitor operational parameters (voltage, frequency, oil pressure, temperature) and log all maintenance activities.

• Ensure strict adherence to K3 (Health, Safety, and Environment) procedures in the generator area.

About you

• Minimum education: SMK/High School in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering.

• Minimum 1 year work experience in genset maintenance and troubleshooting (experience with high-capacity industrial gensets is a plus).

• Proficient in reading electrical wiring diagrams and understanding ATS/AMF control panels.

• Strong diagnostic capability to quickly identify and resolve mechanical or electrical engine failures.

• Reliable, disciplined, target-oriented, and able to work independently or in an emergency shift team.
