About the Role

Varikas Mestari Intercultural School is looking for passionate and open-minded teachers for both our Early Years, Primary Years and Middle Years programmes. We want educators who believe that meaningful learning goes beyond delivering content. We seek teachers who can inspire curiosity, nurture character, and help students become confident, thoughtful, and responsible learners.

The successful candidates will join a collaborative learning community and contribute to the school's journey in implementing the IB Early Years Programme (EYP), Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP).

Key Responsibilities (All Positions)

1. Plan and deliver engaging, inquiry-based, and student-centred lessons.

2. Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

3. Develop students' approaches to learning (ATL) skills and the attributes of the IB learner profile.

4. Monitor students' learning and development through ongoing formative and summative assessment.

5. Provide meaningful and constructive feedback to students.

6. Differentiate learning according to students' readiness, needs, and abilities.

7. Collaborate with colleagues in planning, curriculum development, and school programmes.

8. Communicate professionally and respectfully with students, parents, and colleagues.

9. Participate actively in professional development, school events, and academic meetings.

10. Uphold the school's values, professional standards, and safeguarding expectations.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field. EYP and PYP applicants should hold a degree in Primary or Early Childhood Education. MYP applicants should hold a degree in Education or their subject area.

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience at the relevant level.

• Fluent in spoken and written English.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Passionate about teaching and committed to students' holistic development.

• Open-minded, reflective, adaptable, and willing to continue learning.

• Able to work effectively as part of a professional teaching team.

• Comfortable using technology to support teaching and learning.

• Experience in an international or IB school is an advantage, but not required.
