Deskripsi pekerjaan
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate tax audits, examinations, and tax authority inquiries across multiple legal entities in Indonesia.
Prepare, review, and defend responses to tax audits, SP2DK, and other tax authority requests.
Manage objection, appeal, lawsuit, and judicial review processes.Develop technical tax arguments and dispute defense strategies to support the company's tax positions.
Evaluate audit findings and tax assessments, including financial and operational impacts.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain supporting documents and explanations required during audits and disputes.
Monitor dispute timelines and ensure timely submission of all required documents.
Oversee preparation and review of transfer pricing documentation and related analyses.
Support transfer pricing audit defense and dispute resolution related to related-party transactions.
Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on ongoing disputes and business operations.
Provide technical tax analysis and recommendations on complex tax matters.
Ensure tax positions are properly documented and defensible.
Identify, assess, document, and mitigate tax risks across the organization.
Conduct tax diagnostic reviews and risk assessments.
Evaluate tax implications of business initiatives, financing arrangements, restructurings, and commercial transactions.
Support management in assessing tax exposures and potential contingencies.
Manage relationships with external tax advisors, consultants, and legal counsel.
Serve as the primary coordinator with Indonesian tax authorities for audit and dispute matters.
Lead communications, negotiations, and discussions with tax authorities during audits and disputes.
Build and maintain professional relationships with tax office stakeholders.
Facilitate constructive engagement to support resolution of complex tax issues.
Provide regular updates to management regarding tax audits, disputes, risks, and potential exposures.
Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all tax dispute cases.
Support the development and enhancement of tax policies, procedures, and governance frameworks related to tax risk and dispute management.
Drive continuous improvement and standardization of tax audit and dispute management processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or a related field;
7–10 years of relevant tax experience, with at least 3–5 years of hands-on experience in tax audits, tax disputes, and tax controversy matters.
Proven experience handling tax audits/examinations, SP2DK, objections, appeals, lawsuits, and/or judicial reviews (Peninjauan Kembali/PK).
Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations and practices, including General Tax Provisions (KUP), Corporate Income Tax, VAT, tax dispute procedures, and transfer pricing regulations.
Demonstrated ability to develop technical tax positions, tax arguments, dispute strategies, and responses to tax audit findings and tax authority inquiries.
Experience in transfer pricing documentation, related-party transactions, transfer pricing analysis, and transfer pricing audit/dispute defense.
Strong capability in tax risk assessment, tax diagnostic reviews, tax exposure analysis, and tax contingency assessment.
Good understanding of the tax implications of business restructurings, financing arrangements, commercial transactions, and other corporate initiatives.
Proven experience in dealing and coordinating with Indonesian tax authorities (DJP/KPP), external tax advisors, consultants, and legal counsel.
Strong negotiation, communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills, particularly in handling complex tax matters and disputes.
Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tax dispute cases across multiple legal entities, including case timelines, submissions, supporting documentation, and follow-up actions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with excellent attention to detail and documentation discipline.
Ability to prepare and present tax exposure, dispute status, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior management.
Strong proficiency in English.
