Supervisor Accounting & Tax

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor Accounting & Tax to join our team at PT FTS Automotive Indonesia, based in South Cikarang, West Java. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's accounting and tax compliance, playing a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and strategic direction of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

• Lead and manage the accounting team, overseeing the preparation of financial statements, costing, budgets, and reports.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, tax audit and internal policies.

• Analyse financial data, identify trends and insights, and provide recommendations to senior management

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making and business objectives

• Streamline and optimize accounting processes and systems to improve efficiency and accuracy

• Train and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax authorities

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with a professional accounting certification (e.g. CPA, ACCA)

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a supervisory or within the accounting, Tax and finance function, preferably in the manufacturing or automotive industry

• Proven track record in managing the full accounting cycle, including financial reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• Proficient in the use of accounting software and data analysis tools

• Thorough understanding of Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations
