Superintendent Logistik

About the role

Lead, control, and optimise all logistics activities to ensure the availability of materials, spare parts, fuel, equipment, and operational needs of the mining site in the right quantity, right time, right quality, and cost-efficient manner, in accordance with company procedures and safety and environmental regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop logistics planning and distribution based on mining production plans, and control procurement lead time, delivery, and goods receipt

• Oversee goods receipt, storage, issuance, and distribution; ensure stock accuracy against system or ERP data

• Establish and monitor minimum stock, maximum stock, and reorder points; manage slow-moving, dead stock, and obsolete stock

• Manage goods transportation from supplier to site via land and sea routes; optimise transport costs and vehicle utilisation

• Ensure availability of critical spare parts for heavy equipment and support equipment to prevent downtime

• Develop and control logistics operational budget; analyse transportation, storage, handling, and distribution costs

• Ensure implementation of K3 (occupational health and safety) procedures in loading, storage, and transportation activities

• Lead, assign tasks, and evaluate performance of logistics team; establish KPIs and work targets

• Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, Maintenance, Production, and user departments

• Prepare operational reports and provide improvement recommendations to management

About you

• Minimum S1 degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Management, or related field

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, inventory control, or supply chain; preferably 2–3 years in supervisory or managerial position

• Experience in nickel mining, coal mining, heavy equipment, oil & gas, or industries with remote site operations is preferred

• Proficient in inventory management, warehouse management, transportation, material planning, and goods distribution

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar inventory systems

• Able to lead teams, make operational decisions, solve problems, and coordinate across departments

• Able to analyse stock, lead time, logistics costs, material requirements, and supply disruption risks

• Understanding of K3 principles in storage, transportation, and material handling

• Active in Indonesian language; English language is an advantage

• Willing to work on a roster system and be placed at mining sites
