Staff - Lab & Inspection (Garment Manufacturing)

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's degree, preferably in Textile, Garment, Chemistry, or related fields.

• Fresh graduates are welcome; experience in garment/textile quality inspection is an advantage.

• Basic knowledge of fabric and garment raw materials.

• Good attention to detail and accuracy.

• Basic Microsoft Office/Excel skills.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Proficient in English both speaking & writing.

• Able to work in a fast-paced garment manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Check incoming raw materials such as fabric, trims, and accessories.

• Inspect fabric for defects, color/shade differences, and other quality issues.

• Perform basic material testing such as fabric width, GSM, and shrinkage.

• Compare materials with approved samples and specifications.

• Record and report inspection and testing results.

• Report non-conforming materials to the related departments.

• Support material approval, rejection, and follow-up processes.

• Maintain inspection records, samples, and testing equipment.

• Support quality audits and other Lab & Inspection activities.
