Spa Operations Manager

About the role

Resting Koala is looking for a hands-on Spa Operations Manager to lead the daily running of our spa. You'll own everything from staff scheduling and service standards to guest experience and the bottom line — the person guests never see, but always feel the effect of.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day spa operations, ensuring smooth scheduling, service delivery, and guest satisfaction

• Recruit, train, and manage therapists, front-desk, and support staff, including rosters and performance

• Maintain service quality and hygiene standards in line with spa and wellness best practices

• Manage inventory, supplier relationships, and product/equipment procurement

• Monitor spa revenue, costs, and budgets, and identify opportunities to improve profitability

• Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues promptly and professionally

• Coordinate with hotel/resort management (if applicable) and other departments to align on guest experience

• Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and licensing regulations

About you

• Minimum 5 years of experience in spa, wellness, or hospitality operations management

• Proven track record managing teams and daily operations in a guest-facing service environment

• Strong leadership and staff management skills

• Solid understanding of spa treatments, therapist scheduling, and service quality standards

• Good financial acumen — comfortable with budgets, cost control, and revenue tracking

• Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia

• Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving under pressure
