Social Media & Brand Activation Manager

About the role

You own how landnpop shows up to Indonesian brand founders. The channels, the voice, the look, the community around them, and the rooms we put them in. You set the direction and you make the work. You work directly with the founders with no layers and no manager in between, learning by being in the decision rather than hearing about it afterwards. Decisions get made the same day.

Key responsibilities

• Build channels, cadence and voice for landnpop's brand presence, determining which platforms, how often, and how the company looks and sounds
• Write landnpop's own channels and voice
• Reply in comments and DMs in Bahasa as a person, turning those replies into contacts
• Create and facilitate founder connections by bringing them together in shared spaces
• Own landnpop's own events series, including theme, venue, running order, and follow-up (starting with a founder dinner in Jakarta)
• Run landnpop's own channels, not individual brands' social and KOL work
• Work with the brands and marketing lead on positioning and which brands to pursue versus how to show up

About you

• Have grown a social account from nothing and know which posts drove that growth
• Are a leader who makes the work, not only directs it
• Write well in Bahasa and in English, and sound like a person in both
• Understand that engagement is a vanity number and contacts are the real metric
• Have run an event end to end, including guest list, venue, and running order
