About the role

Hinomoto Manufacturing Indonesia is seeking a Senior Warehouse Staff member to join our operations team in Karawang, West Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management and distribution of our manufacturing products. As Senior Warehouse Staff, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and leading a team to deliver exceptional service standards. This role is integral to our supply chain success and directly impacts our ability to meet customer demands and operational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Overseeing and coordinating daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods

• Managing inventory control systems and ensuring accurate stock records and reconciliation

• Supervising and training warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures

• Monitoring warehouse efficiency metrics and implementing improvements to enhance productivity

• Conducting regular inspections of warehouse facilities, equipment and storage areas to maintain standards

• Liaising with logistics, procurement and sales teams to ensure smooth material flow

• Preparing warehouse reports and documentation related to inventory, shipments and stock movements

• Implementing and enforcing workplace safety standards and compliance with company policies

• Managing warehouse resources, including equipment maintenance and stock replenishment

• Resolving operational issues and addressing discrepancies in inventory or shipment records

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse operations experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior role

• Proven expertise in inventory management systems and warehouse management software

• Strong knowledge of warehousing best practices, including storage optimisation and stock rotation

• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate warehouse teams

• Excellent organisational and time management abilities with attention to detail

• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to warehouse operations

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office applications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

• Experience in manufacturing or distribution environments is highly desirable

• Knowledge of Indonesian warehouse operations and local regulations is an advantage
