About the role

PT JJX TECH INDONESIA is seeking a skilled and experienced Heidelberg Machine Technician to join our technical team. This is a full-time position based in Karawang, West Java. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Heidelberg printing machinery. You will play a critical part in ensuring our production operations run smoothly and efficiently, minimising downtime and maintaining the highest standards of equipment performance. This position is essential to our commitment to delivering quality printing services to our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and set up Heidelberg printing machines according to specifications and technical requirements

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on Heidelberg equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and electronic faults in Heidelberg machinery

• Repair and replace defective components, including mechanical parts, control systems and printing units

• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues before they impact production

• Provide technical support and guidance to production operators on proper machine operation and care

• Document maintenance activities, repairs and equipment performance in detailed technical reports

• Collaborate with the production team to schedule maintenance and minimise operational disruptions

• Stay updated with the latest Heidelberg equipment specifications, technical bulletins and industry best practices

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised work environment

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Heidelberg Machine Technician or similar printing equipment technician role, with at least 4-5 years of hands-on experience

• In-depth knowledge of Heidelberg printing machinery, including offset and digital systems

• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems commonly found in printing equipment

• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving complex technical problems with minimal supervision

• Experience with hydraulic systems, control panels and computerised equipment

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to repairs

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment

• Physical capability to perform manual tasks, lift heavy components and work in varying positions

• Commitment to safety practices and compliance with workplace regulations

• Certification or formal training in printing equipment maintenance is highly desirable

• Fluency in Indonesian and English is preferred
