Location: Canggu, Bali
Employment Type: Full-time / On-site
Reports to: Head of Design
Creative Reporting Line: Co-Founders (Final creative sign-off)
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Development & Garment Construction
Own sample development independently, start to end, from sketch to final sample
Create and/or oversee pattern making with a full understanding of garment construction.
Critically analyse fit comments and translate feedback into clear, technical action points
Diagnose construction or fit issues and propose durable technical solutions, not just quick fixes
Lead fitting sessions: taking measurements, technical notes, and deciding on the adjustments needed
Bring strong technical knowledge of woven, jersey, and activewear fabrics
Bring strong technical knowledge of knitwear (gauge, stitch structure, finishing, shrinkage, shaping)
Bring technical knowledge of intimates/lingerie construction (elastic engineering, cups, support structures)
Carry out or coordinate fabric testing (shrinkage, stretch & recovery, colorfastness, pilling) to validate performance before bulk production
Pattern Making & Grading
Create digital patterns from sketch or brief with a complete understanding of drape, ease, and movement
Apply a critical, analytical eye to grading, identifying areas for continuous improvement across the size range
Adjust key points of measurement based on fit feedback and production considerations
Technical Documentation & Accuracy
Create, update, and maintain tech packs and spec sheets with accuracy and consistency
Ensure all documentation (fitting notes, revisions, BOM) is complete, organised, and up to date
Communicate clearly and effectively with manufacturers on technical comments, corrections, and updates
Sample Development & Production Coordination
Track sample development at every stage, ensuring timelines and revisions are followed closely
Coordinate with manufacturers with a real understanding of production constraints (MOQ, technical feasibility, construction complexity)
Estimate fabric consumption and support costing discussions with manufacturers
Prepare samples for fittings, meetings, and production handover
Leadership & Team Support
Mentor and support junior team members on technical development and pattern making
Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously across different product categories
Act as a technical reference point for the wider design and development team
Tracking & Reporting
Document development meticulously (fitting photos, revision notes, sample history)
Keep development trackers accurate and up to date at every stage

You are highly organised, technically minded, and passionate about the details that make a garment fit and function beautifully.
Detail-Oriented: You have a strong eye for precision and consistency, especially regarding fit, measurements, and garment construction.
Technically Skilled: You have complete mastery of garment construction and pattern making, and understand how different fabrics behave across categories, including knitwear.
Analytical: You take a critical, questioning approach to fit comments and grading, always looking for ways to improve accuracy and consistency across the size range.
Process-Driven: You enjoy organising information, following development stages closely, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
Collaborative: You communicate clearly with both design teams and manufacturers, and enjoy working in a growing and supportive environment.

Requirements :
8-10+ years of experience in garment technical development and pattern making
Full mastery of pattern making across wovens, jersey, knitwear, intimates
Strong knowledge of garment construction and fitting processes
Deep, critical understanding of grading and measurements, with the ability to identify and improve grading accuracy
Ability to create and update technical packs independently
Proficient in CLO 3D, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
Proficient in Google Sheets / Excel
Knowledge of sustainable materials and processes (certifications, recycled fibres, low-impact dyeing, etc.)
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable communicating technical comments and revisions directly with manufacturers
Deep understanding of garment costing and fabric consumption
Experience mentoring or supervising junior technical staff
English & Bahasa Indonesia proficiency
