SAP FICO Consultant

About the role

We are seeking experienced SAP FICO professionals to join our SAP practice and support finance transformation initiatives across various industries. This role is suitable for professionals ranging from Analyst to Manager level with expertise in SAP Finance and Controlling modules, including financial accounting, controlling, payroll integration, cutover activities, and end-to-end ERP transformation programs.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, finance teams, HR teams, and technical teams to design, implement, optimize, and support SAP-enabled finance solutions that improve operational efficiency, financial governance, regulatory compliance, and business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.

• Design, configure, test, and deploy SAP Finance and Controlling solutions across various sub-modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, Product Costing, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).

• Support SAP Payroll and HR integration with finance processes, including payroll posting, cost allocation, reconciliation, and financial reporting requirements.

• Lead or support data migration, reconciliation, mock conversion, and cutover planning activities to ensure successful deployment and business readiness.

• Conduct fit-gap assessments, business process workshops, solution design sessions, and requirements gathering activities.

• Collaborate with cross-functional SAP teams including MM, SD, PP, HCM, SuccessFactors, Ariba, BTP, and technical development teams to deliver integrated solutions.

• Prepare functional specifications, business process documentation, test scripts, training materials, and operational handover documentation.

• Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), hypercare, and post-go-live stabilization activities.

• Provide recommendations for finance process optimization, automation, compliance, and reporting improvements.

• For Manager-level professionals, lead project workstreams, manage client stakeholders, oversee delivery governance, mentor project team members, support solution architecture discussions, and contribute to business development initiatives.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Hands-on experience with SAP FICO implementation, rollout, upgrade, transformation, or support projects.

• Strong knowledge of core SAP FI and CO business processes and configuration.

• Experience in one or more SAP FICO sub-modules, including GL, AP, AR, AA, Bank Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Product Costing, or CO-PA.

• Experience supporting finance integration with payroll, HR, procurement, sales, manufacturing, or other enterprise processes.

• Knowledge of financial reporting, financial controls, reconciliation processes, month-end closing, and management reporting.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

• Professional proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
