About the role

This position will be responsible for driving all commercial and sales initiatives within the designated region, with a core focus on expanding market presence, securing freight volume, and accelerating business growth for our shipping and logistics services at the Tolitoli branch.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve target volume, lifting, and revenue set by management through active prospecting, pipeline acquisition, and retention of existing key accounts.
• Execute end-to-end commercial cycles, including sales call planning, regular client visits, preparation of rate quotations, contract negotiations, and deal closing.
• Build and nurture sustainable relationships with shippers, consignees, traders, and local industry players across various cargo profiles.
• Liaise closely with local port operations, customer service, and equipment control teams to monitor space availability, container inventory, and seamless cargo movement.
• Address client inquiries, provide routine shipment tracking updates, and drive prompt resolution of customer complaints to uphold service excellence.
• Collect market intelligence on competitor pricing, service schedules, and trade flow developments to identify emerging commercial opportunities in the area.
• Prepare comprehensive sales pipeline reviews, activity reports, and market analyses for the branch head and commercial management.

About you

• Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• Proven sales or commercial experience.
• Solid grasp of shipping documentation, freight structure, port operations, and supply chain processes.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal communication, and client management skills.
• Proactive, target-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently in a dynamic branch setting.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Indonesia, both spoken and written.
• Willing to be placed at the Tolitoli (Sulawesi Tengah).
