Sales Engineer

Igawara is a steel trading company supplying a wide range of steel products and industrial solutions to fabrication yards, shipyards, offshore yards, and pressure vessel manufacturers (for more information, please visit www.igawara.com.sg). We are expanding our team and seeking motivated individuals to base in Jakarta as Sales Engineer.

About The Role

Sales and technical support for high-precision laser cutting and intelligent systems, electrical equipment and/or steel material.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and support high-precision laser cutting systems

• Promote and support fully automatic marking and printing systems for shipbuilding steel plates

• Promote and support intelligent edge processing and grinding systems

• Promote and support intelligent robotic welding systems

• Develop and maintain customers in fabrication yards, shipyards, offshore yards, EPC and pressure vessel workshops and steel various industries

• Promote steel products to projects in various industries

• Support sales growth and customer service activities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned markets

• Conduct customer visits, presentations, and product demonstrations as required

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements

• Comply with company administrative procedures and submit accurate and timely daily, weekly, and monthly work reports, including sales activities, customer visits, opportunities, and business development updates

Job Requirements

1.      Good command of English, both written and spoken

2.      Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline

3.      Fresh graduate or candidate with relevant sales or business development experience in steel fabrication yards, shipyards, offshore yards, pressure vessel workshops, steel or any related industries.

4.      Strong communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills

5.      Result-oriented, self-motivated, discipline and able to work independently in a remote working environment
