Quantity Surveyor Paid Internship

About the role

Sambal Bakar Indonesia Group is opening an opportunity for final-year students and recent graduates in Civil Engineering to gain direct experience in volume calculations, budget preparation, and project administration for outlet development and renovation.

Key responsibilities

• Help calculate work volume based on technical drawings and project specifications

• Help prepare and update RAB and BOQ

• Collect and compare material prices and vendor or contractor offers

• Help verify work progress compliance with volume and payment submissions

• Conduct budget recapitulation and project administration

• Archive quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and project supporting documents

• Coordinate with Project, Drafter, Purchasing teams, and vendors

• Support project site visits and inspections as needed

About you

• Final-year student or recent graduate with D3/S1 degree in Civil Engineering

• Understand basic work volume calculations, RAB, and BOQ

• Able to read and understand technical drawings

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data processing and recapitulation

• AutoCAD skills are an added value

• Detail-oriented with strong numerical ability

• Communicative, able to work in teams, and willing to learn

• Willing to conduct project site visits as needed
