We are currently seeking talented and motivated individuals to join a well-established Japanese footwear manufacturer located in Serang, Banten. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with Japanese language proficiency and experience or interest in the footwear manufacturing industry.

Footwear Technical Staff (Japanese Speaker)

Openings: Multiple Positions

Job Responsibilities

Depending on your background and experience, you may be involved in one or more of the following areas:

Production Control

• Manage production schedules and delivery timelines

• Monitor production progress and follow up with factories

• Coordinate with internal departments and overseas stakeholders

Quality Control

• Conduct quality inspections and monitor manufacturing quality

• Identify and follow up on quality issues

• Coordinate quality-related activities with factories and relevant departments

Product Development & Production Transfer

• Support the transition of products from development to mass production

• Review product specifications, patterns, and samples

• Verify testing results and production readiness

Technical / SOLE Development

• Support SOLE- and mold-related development activities

• Review samples and technical specifications

• Coordinate with factories throughout the development process

Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications

• JLPT N3 or above

• Able to communicate effectively in Japanese for daily business operations

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

• Minimum High School graduate

• Able to commute to the Serang area by motorcycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the footwear industry

• Experience in any of the following functions:

  • Production Control

  • Quality Control

  • Product Development

  • Production Transfer / Industrialization

  • Technical Development

  • SOLE / Mold Development

  • Manufacturing Operations

• English communication skills are an advantage

Please note that this is not an interpreter position. Candidates are expected to use Japanese directly in their daily work.

Employment Details

• Location: Serang, Banten

• Employment Type: Permanent Employee

• Probation Period: 3 months

• Salary: IDR 6,000,000 – 8,000,000 Net per month (based on qualifications and interview results)

• Joining: Immediate availability is preferred
