QA Manual / Semi-Automation Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Perform manual testing to ensure application functionality meets business and technical requirements.

• Develop and execute test plans, test scenarios, and test cases based on system requirements.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.

• Identify, document, and track bugs or defects, including steps to reproduce and expected results.

• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve issues.

• Perform API testing and validate data accuracy when required.

• Prepare test reports and maintain test documentation to support quality assurance activities.

• Identify repetitive manual testing processes that can be improved through automation.

• Develop and maintain basic automated test scripts as part of the transition toward test automation.

• Support continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and quality standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or software testing.

• Strong experience in manual testing, including functional, regression, and integration testing.

• Ability to create test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and defect reports.

• Experience using bug-tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms.

• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of test automation concepts and frameworks, with willingness to develop automation skills.

• Familiarity with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java is an advantage.

• Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).

• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and problem-solving skills.

• Willing to work hybrid, with 3 days onsite in Cirebon and 2 days remote per week.
