Project Manager

About the role

Lead technical teams, foremen, and sub-contractors on fiber optic cable installation projects across aerial, underground (duct), splicing, and OTDR work. Manage blueprint analysis, cost budgeting, project expenditure control, and risk mitigation. Coordinate permits, vendor liaison, and stakeholder engagement with local government and communities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage technical teams, foremen, and sub-contractors

• Understand fiber optic cable installation across aerial routes, underground ducts, splicing, and OTDR

• Read and analyze blueprint designs, technical drawings, and as-built documentation

• Prepare cost budgets, control project expenditure, and mitigate project risks

• Manage permit procedures, coordinate with vendors, and liaise with local government and community stakeholders

• Demonstrate strong negotiation and communication capabilities

About you

• D3 or S1 qualification

• Preferred background in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Civil Engineering

• 2–5 years of experience

• Willing to be placed anywhere as required
