Supervisor

About the role

This role involves managing civil works including trenching, duct installation, handhole/manhole construction, and aerial installations on poles. You will oversee optical cable splicing processes, splicing loss measurement, and ODP & ODC installation. The position requires reading HLD, LLD, and As-Built drawings, and ensuring quality standards for excavation, cable neatness, and attenuation according to technical specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and motivate field teams, vendors, and technicians

• Manage civil works including trenching, duct installation, and aerial installations

• Oversee optical cable splicing processes and splicing loss measurement

• Install and manage ODP & ODC systems

• Read and interpret HLD, LLD, and As-Built drawings

• Ensure quality standards for excavation, cable neatness, and attenuation comply with technical specifications

• Address technical and non-technical field challenges as they arise

• Report work progress to management and project owners

• Implement and follow project construction safety procedures

About you

• Proficiency in civil works including trenching, duct installation, handhole/manhole construction, and aerial installations

• Expertise in optical cable splicing processes and splicing loss measurement

• Ability to read HLD, LLD, and As-Built drawings

• Understanding of project construction safety procedures

• Willingness to be deployed to any location

• Strong communication skills for reporting work progress

• Ability to lead and coordinate teams in the field
