Production Material Controller (Base in Indonesia, Tanjung Uncang Batam)

About the role

This role involves conducting regular stock checks and physical inventory audits, coordinating with suppliers, planning and monitoring shipping schedules, and maintaining safe warehouse operations. You will work closely with production teams to ensure timely supply of materials and update shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular stock checks and physical inventory audits to ensure system accuracy

• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor shipping schedules with freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of goods

• Maintain safe and efficient warehouse operations in compliance with company procedures

• Work closely with production teams to ensure timely supply of materials for scheduled manufacturing activities

• Update/maintain shipping/receiving paperwork, vendor records, inventory reports, and stock documentation

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of supply chain management, inventory management and warehouse procedures

• Proficiency in ERP systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office (especially advanced Excel)

• Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail

• Good communication skills to coordinate with vendors and internal teams

• High School, Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

• Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or logistics within a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Proficient in English, Bahasa Indonesia (Malay), and Mandarin to communicate with China-based suppliers/customers and Indonesian staff
