Procurement Manager

About the role

This role involves managing the complete procurement lifecycle from requisition to delivery, with responsibility for cost optimization, risk management, and strategic vendor relationships across mining, palm oil plantation, and property/real estate/construction industries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement operations from requisition to delivery

• Implement cost-saving initiatives while mitigating operational and supply risks

• Prepare, review, and manage contracts and legal aspects related to vendor agreements

• Utilize procurement systems and data analysis to drive efficiency and informed decision-making

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships and performance evaluations with vendors

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operational alignment

• Achieve cost reduction and savings targets without compromising quality standards

• Ensure adherence to procurement fulfillment schedules to support operational continuity

• Maintain legal and administrative compliance in contract drafting and vendor documentation

• Monitor and evaluate vendor performance regularly

Requirements:

• Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree (S1) in Civil Engineering, Management, Business, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement/Purchasing at a peer level

• Work experience background in Mining, Palm Oil Plantation, and/or Property/Real Estate/Construction industries

• Strong understanding of procurement risk management, cost optimization, and supply chain management at operational scale

• Familiarity with Procurement systems/software/ERP such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or equivalent

• Experience with procurement data analytics

• Proficiency in legal aspects, contract drafting and management

• Knowledge of regulations and permitting related to mining, plantation, or property industries

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• High-level negotiation capabilities
