Procurement Manager

About the role

A supervisory procurement role in the EPC or related industry, responsible for overseeing procurement activities, managing vendor relationships, and supporting project delivery in the energy sector, particularly with experience in LNG equipment and materials.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise procurement staff

• Work with the procurement manager to allocate tasks and resources within the team to optimize efficiency

• Liaison with project teams, ensuring that procurement needs are clearly understood and met

• Report on the progress of procurement activities to the procurement manager

• Assist procurement manager with bidding and projects related

• Source new potential vendors, negotiation, and evaluate vendor's performance

• Maintain good relationships with vendors with regular communication and visitation

• Ensure best quality from vendors and get good vendor satisfaction from internal stakeholders

About you

• At least 10 years of working experience in Procurement EPC or related industry

• At least 2 years in a supervisory role

• Bachelor's Degree in any field

• Required language: English, Bahasa Indonesia

• Experience in using Accurate Software

• Highly organized and detail oriented

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of equipment and material for Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument, Piping, Civil for gases (specially for LNG)

• Able to work in fast paced environment

• Able to read and interpret technical specifications and contracts
