Pharmacist Production - Assistant Manager

About the Role

Responsible for overseeing and managing the overall production activities within the assigned manufacturing building, ensuring production targets, product quality, GMP/CPOB compliance, and operational efficiency are achieved. The role also provides leadership to the production team and drives continuous improvement across production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily production operations within the assigned building.

• Ensure production activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with GMP/CPOB and company procedures.

• Plan and monitor production activities, manpower, and resources to achieve production targets.

• Lead, develop, and evaluate the production team to ensure effective performance and discipline.

• Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.

• Lead or participate in production-related projects and improvement initiatives.

• Support the investigation and resolution of production deviations, quality issues, and operational problems.

• Coordinate with QA, QC, Engineering, PPIC, Warehouse, and other related departments to ensure smooth production operations.

• Ensure proper implementation and completion of CAPA, change control, and other corrective/improvement actions.

• Promote a culture of quality, compliance, safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the production area.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist Professional Degree is required.

• Maximum age of 40 years old.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in Production.

• Strong project management skills, with experience in handling projects and/or leading a team.

• Strong knowledge of GMP/CPOB/CPAKB and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.

• Proven experience in leading and managing production teams.

• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Proactive, responsible, and committed to quality and continuous improvement.

• Willing to be based at Headquarters Factory, Sidoarjo.
