About the role

Pattern Maker responsible for creating and developing garment patterns using Optitex software. The role involves translating designs and sketches into digital patterns, performing grading and adjustments to size standards, and ensuring patterns meet design specifications, construction requirements, and production needs.

Key responsibilities

• Create and develop garment patterns using Optitex

• Perform grading and adjustment of patterns according to size standards

• Create patterns based on design/sketches until ready for production

• Conduct fitting and revise patterns based on sample results

• Ensure patterns comply with design, sizing, construction, and production requirements

• Coordinate with Design, Sample, Production, and QA teams

• Maintain accuracy and consistency of patterns for mass production

• Create samples, conduct fitting, and revise patterns according to evaluation results

About you

• Minimum SMA/SMK education in Fashion/Tailoring or related field

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Pattern Maker, preferably in garment/fashion industry

• Must master Optitex application for pattern creation and development

• Able to create digital patterns using Optitex based on design/sketches

• Able to perform size grading, adjustment, and pattern editing using Optitex

• Must be able to sew and understand garment construction and manufacturing processes

• Understanding of baby wear/children wear pattern making is an advantage

• Understand material characteristics and their impact on fitting and production results

• Detail-oriented, meticulous, organized, and possess good problem-solving abilities

• Able to work collaboratively with Design, Sample, Production, and QA teams
