Mill Maintenance

Summary Overview:

• Implement the maintenance program to ensure the mill operates smoothly (with minimal breakdowns)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1.      Prepare and submit the annual budget for the workshop section (maintenance)

2.      Oversee project and workshop operations, including administrative tasks

3.      Develop maintenance schedules and cleaning plans for equipment and workstations, as well as conduct evaluations and cost control 

4.      Submit requests for the type, quantity, and specifications of materials needed for maintenance 

5.      Ensure that company programs and plans are properly implemented

6.      Mentor and guide underperforming workers

7.      Implement ISO 9001, RSPO, ISPO, ISCC, and PROPER standards

8.      Coordinate with other staff and ensure the Mill operates smoothly

9.      Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment

10. Perform other duties as instructed by the Superior

11. Supervisory Responsibilities/Scope of Authority

•    Operations

1.      Responsible for mill operations and company assets in the Workshop Section

2.      Ensure the company’s work plans proceed as intended (within budget); control and evaluate costs using the cost variance method

3.      Report to the MHA/MM regarding operations

4.      Provide direct work instructions to foremen or workers, particularly those derived from the processing logbook and other sources

5.      Provide training, counseling, and coaching to subordinate employees
