Metallurgist

About the role

A Metallurgist position supporting expansion of an Indonesian integrated Precious Metals group. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and continuously improving advanced process control systems for Precious Metals Refining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, monitor, evaluate, tune, and continuously improve advanced process control philosophy of Precious Metals Refining Process ranging from Melting & Sampling, Inquartation & Parting, Aqua Regia, Moebius & Wohlwill Electrolysis Cell

• Collaborate with the laboratory of quality control & instrumentation team in maintaining all infrastructures that support the advanced process control system

• Maintain & audit the process control environment, identifying process control performance stabilisation, optimisation, and constraint opportunities

• Conduct plant data analysis

About you

• Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering background familiar with Process Control

• 2 - 3 years working experience in the same industry

• Solid foundation of Precious Metals refining & its process control

• Highly organized and proactive team player with ability to multi-task

• Strong analytical skills with sound judgement and decision-making ability

• Strong work ethic, coupled with a sense of urgency and ability to get things done

• Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels
