Mechanical Engineering Manager Cilegon- Banten

About the role

Manage and supervise all mechanical engineering and maintenance operations within the shopping mall. Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, chillers, pumps, plumbing, drainage, fire protection systems, and other mechanical equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs

• Supervise the engineering team, technicians, and external contractors

• Monitor equipment performance, energy consumption, and maintenance costs

• Coordinate with the Building Management, Security, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure smooth mall operations

• Ensure compliance with building safety regulations, fire safety standards, and applicable technical requirements

• Prepare maintenance reports, budgets, and equipment performance evaluations

• Handle mechanical system breakdowns and coordinate troubleshooting to minimize operational disruptions

About you

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering (Teknik Mesin)

• Minimum 5 years of experience in building engineering, facility management, or mechanical maintenance, preferably in a shopping mall, commercial building, hotel, or large property

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial position

• Preferably has experience in Mall, Hotel, or Hospital

• Strong knowledge of HVAC, chiller systems, pumps, plumbing, drainage, and fire protection systems

• Familiar with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, building operations, and contractor management

• Good leadership, communication, problem-solving, and team management skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance reporting

• Able to manage maintenance budgets and operational costs

• Willing to be stationed in Cilegon, Banten
