Teaching opportunities may be available in Surabaya, Malang, Sidoarjo, and other locations across the region, depending on our operational needs.

Whether you prefer the vibrant metropolitan lifestyle of Surabaya, the cooler atmosphere of Malang, or another location in East Java, you'll become part of a professional team committed to delivering high-quality English education to young learners.

This is a six-day-a-week teaching position, with Sundays included when required by operational needs, and requires a minimum one-year commitment.

Who We're Looking For

Education and English Proficiency

You hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in an English-related field and have achieved at least a C1 level on the EFSET English Test.

Teaching Experience

A minimum of one year of teaching or relevant professional experience is preferred.

You will also need to provide at least one professional reference from a previous employer or supervisor who can speak to your teaching performance, professionalism, and work ethic.

Passion for Young Learners

You genuinely enjoy working with children and teenagers and bring enthusiasm, patience, and positivity into the classroom every day.

Professional Mindset

You are self-motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to remain calm under pressure. You serve as a positive role model for both students and colleagues.

Commitment to Training

You are willing to complete our three-week training programme, designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to succeed from your very first day of teaching.

Professional Standards

You are comfortable adhering to English 1's Dress Code and Code of Conduct and are proud to represent our brand with professionalism and integrity.

Work Commitment

This is a six-day-a-week position, with Sunday work included when required by operational needs.

You must be available to work a six-day schedule and be able to commit to a minimum one-year contract.

Whether you're already based in East Java or elsewhere in Indonesia, or you're planning to relocate, our team will support you throughout the transition.

Teaching placements may be available in Surabaya, Malang, Sidoarjo, and other locations across East Java. Your placement will be determined based on operational needs and available positions.
