Do You Have What It Takes?

1. Education and English Proficiency

You must hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in an English-related field and achieve at least C1 proficiency on the EFSET English Test.

2. Teaching Experience

At least one year of teaching or relevant professional experience is preferred.

You must also provide at least one professional reference from a previous employer or supervisor who can comment on your professionalism, work ethic, and relevant experience.

3. A Passion for Young Learners

You enjoy working with children and teenagers and bring patience, creativity, enthusiasm, and positivity to your lessons.

4. The Right Professional Attitude

You are self-motivated, adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to remain calm under pressure. You understand the importance of being a positive role model for students and colleagues.

5. Commitment to Paid Training

You are willing to complete our three-week paid training programme and actively participate in the preparation needed to become an effective English teacher.

The training will equip you with practical teaching techniques, classroom management skills, and the knowledge needed to deliver engaging and effective lessons.

6. Professional Standards

You are comfortable following English 1's Dress Code and Code of Conduct and are committed to representing the brand with professionalism and integrity.

What You Need to Know Before Applying

Work location: Blitar, East Java

Work schedule: Six days per week, with Sunday work included when required by operational needs.

Contract commitment: A minimum of one year.

Training: A three-week paid training programme is required.
