IT Asset Management

About the role

Manage and maintain the company's IT asset inventory, including hardware, software, and other supporting equipment. Monitor the IT asset lifecycle, from procurement through to disposal, and ensure that asset data is accurately recorded and documented within the asset management system.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the company's IT asset inventory, including hardware, software, and other supporting equipment

• Ensure that asset data is accurately recorded and documented within the asset management system

• Monitor the IT asset lifecycle, from procurement through to disposal

• Conduct periodic stock takes and asset audits

• Coordinate with relevant teams regarding the procurement, distribution, return, and maintenance of IT assets

• Manage software licenses and ensure compliance with their usage

• Prepare regular asset reports and supporting documentation

• Provide recommendations for optimizing IT asset management and improving cost efficiency

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Information Technology, Information Systems, Informatics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

• At least 1 year of experience in a role such as IT Asset Management, IT Support, IT Inventory Management, or a similar position

• Understanding of IT Asset Lifecycle Management concepts and IT asset inventory processes

• Experience using inventory or asset management tools (e.g., ManageEngine AssetExplorer, GLPI, OCS Inventory, ServiceNow, Freshservice, or similar)

• Familiarity with IT hardware—such as laptops, desktops, servers, printers, and networking devices—as well as software licenses

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reporting) for asset data processing
