Internal Auditor - Mandarin Speaker

About the role

PT. Gree Electric Appliances Indonesia is seeking an Internal Auditor – Mandarin Speaker to join our Accounting department. This is a full-time position based in Jakarta. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the organisation's governance and risk management framework. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting comprehensive internal audits, evaluating control systems, and providing strategic recommendations to enhance operational efficiency and compliance across the business. This position reports to the Internal Audit management and serves as a vital safeguard for the company's assets and integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and document internal audit assignments across various departments and business units within the organisation

• Assess the effectiveness of internal control systems, risk management processes and governance structures

• Examine financial records, operational procedures and compliance documentation to identify irregularities, inefficiencies and control gaps

• Conduct interviews with staff and management to gather information and validate audit findings

• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, observations and actionable recommendations

• Follow up on previously reported audit findings to ensure corrective actions have been implemented effectively

• Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment and exchange of relevant audit information

• Maintain audit working papers and documentation in accordance with audit standards and company policies

• Communicate audit results to senior management and audit committees in a clear and professional manner

• Support the development and maintenance of internal audit procedures, templates and methodologies

What we're looking for

• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese (both spoken and written) is essential for this role

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field

• Preferably experienced in internal audit, external audit or a related accounting/finance function

• Fresh graduates are welcome

• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal control frameworks and risk assessment methodologies

• Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify control weaknesses and recommend practical solutions

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex audit findings to diverse audiences

• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and integrity

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments simultaneously

• Familiarity with multinational corporate environments or experience in manufacturing or appliance industries is advantageous
