Infrastructure Engineer (Piping & Drainage Design)

About the role

PT. LIPPO KARAWACI TBK is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer (Piping & Drainage Design) to join our growing engineering team. This is a full-time position based in Karawaci, Banten, where you will play a critical role in the design, planning, and implementation of piping and drainage infrastructure systems for our diverse portfolio of development projects.

As an Infrastructure Engineer specialising in piping and drainage design, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive infrastructure solutions that support our residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. This role is strategically important to our operations, as robust and efficient piping and drainage systems are fundamental to the sustainability and functionality of all our projects. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure that all infrastructure meets regulatory standards, environmental requirements, and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop piping and drainage systems for residential, commercial, and mixed-use development projects

• Conduct hydraulic and hydrological analysis to determine system capacity and performance requirements

• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for piping and drainage infrastructure

• Perform site assessments and surveys to evaluate existing conditions and identify infrastructure needs

• Coordinate with environmental consultants to ensure compliance with environmental protection standards and regulations

• Review and analyse construction documentation to verify adherence to design standards and specifications

• Liaise with regulatory authorities and local government agencies to obtain necessary approvals and permits

• Conduct feasibility studies for proposed piping and drainage solutions, considering technical, environmental, and economic factors

• Provide technical support during the construction phase, including site inspections and quality assurance

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate piping and drainage systems with other infrastructure components

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies in environmental engineering

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in piping and drainage design within the property development or infrastructure sector

• Strong proficiency in hydraulic and hydrological modelling software and CAD tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent)

• In-depth knowledge of piping systems, drainage design principles, and wastewater management systems

• Comprehensive understanding of Indonesian environmental regulations, building codes, and drainage standards applicable to development projects

• Experience in conducting site investigations and feasibility assessments

• Excellent technical documentation and drawing preparation skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Indonesia, with excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent qualification is preferred

• Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) and integrated project delivery is advantageous
