Information Technology Lecturer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update course syllabi, lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments in accordance with the curriculum.

• Facilitate an engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and practical IT skills.

• Assess and evaluate students’ learning progress through assignments, examinations, projects, presentations, and other appropriate methods.

• Conduct and publish research and scholarly activities in relevant areas of Information Technology.

• Participate in community service activities as part of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.

• Supervise student projects, internships, final projects, or other academic activities as assigned.

• Collaborate with other faculty members in curriculum development, academic programs, and departmental activities.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current IT trends, technologies, and industry practices and incorporate relevant developments into teaching.

Requirements

• Minimum Master’s degree (S2) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Previous experience in teaching, lecturing, or academic activities is preferred.

• Strong knowledge and practical understanding of Information Technology concepts (Programming and Software Development, Database Management, Computer Networks, Web and Mobile Development, Information Security, Systems Analysis and Design, Emerging Technologies)

• Ability to develop and deliver engaging lectures, practical sessions, and learning materials.

• Ability to conduct or support research and community service activities in accordance with the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.

• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

• Willingness to work collaboratively with faculty members and contribute to academic and institutional development.

• Professional certifications or industry experience in relevant IT fields will be an advantage.
