Indonesia Language Teacher/Guru Bahasa Indonesia

About the role

This is a teaching position focused on delivering Indonesian Language instruction in accordance with school curriculum and Cambridge IGCSE requirements.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Indonesian Language lessons in accordance with the school curriculum and Cambridge IGCSE requirements

• Prepare teaching materials, assignments, assessments, and examination preparation

• Monitor and evaluate students' academic progress and provide constructive feedback

• Maintain effective classroom management and create a supportive learning environment

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school management to support students' academic development

• Participate in departmental meetings, school events, professional development, and other activities as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Indonesian Language, Literature, or a related field

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school environment

• Experience teaching Indonesian Language within the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum is highly preferred

• Strong knowledge of Indonesian language, literature, grammar, and teaching methodologies

• Familiarity with Cambridge IGCSE curriculum, syllabus, assessment, and examination requirements

• Experience in preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and student progress reports

• Able to differentiate instruction to meet the learning needs of students with diverse abilities and backgrounds

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in English, both written and spoken

• Willing to participate in school activities, professional development, and other academic responsibilities
