In House Monitoring Staff

About the role

This role involves monitoring and overseeing fleet operations to ensure timely delivery, operational compliance, and safety standards. You will manage shipment tracking, respond to operational issues, ensure vehicle compliance with routes and schedules, oversee idle fleet units and parking locations, and monitor driver rest time compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor shipment movement from origin to destination to ensure timeliness (Monitoring status shipment)

• Detect, respond to, and communicate various operational constraints or field issues with emergency response (Monitoring Issue)

• Ensure fleet operates in compliance with routes, schedules, and safety standards without unauthorised deviations (Trip compliance)

• Oversee idle vehicle units and ensure parking locations are recorded safely and efficiently (Idle time unit and parking location)

• Ensure each driver uses rest time in accordance with operational safety standards to prevent fatigue (Rest time driver)

About you

• Minimum D3/S1 qualification, preferably in Transportation Management, Industrial Engineering, or Logistics Management

• Minimum 1 year experience in trucking operations, Command Center, or fleet monitoring staff

• Proficient in operating navigation systems, fleet tracking (GPS), and Transport Management System (TMS)

• Critical thinking, communicative, and quick problem-solving ability in handling unexpected field issues

• Willing to work shift system to facilitate 24-hour operational oversight
