Import Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end import process, from import documentation preparation to shipment arrival and inbound goods inspection at the warehouse.

• Review and verify import documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading (B/L), Air Waybills (AWB), Certificates of Origin (COO), and other supporting documents.

• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and relevant internal departments to ensure smooth import operations.

• Monitor shipment schedules, track estimated arrival times, and ensure timely delivery of goods.

• Prepare, review, and verify customs documentation, including Import Declaration (PIB) data and related supporting documents.

• Monitor the customs clearance process and follow up on outstanding requirements until the goods are released and received at the warehouse.

• Input, maintain, and update import-related data in the company’s ERP system and internal reports.

• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies involving shipment quantities, damaged goods, and import documentation in coordination with relevant parties.

• Maintain accurate, complete, and well-organized import documentation and archives in accordance with company procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in import or logistics.

• Knowledge of Indonesian customs regulations, PIB, and CEISA is an advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP experience is preferred.

• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Basic to intermediate Korean proficiency is preferred.
