ICT Integrator

About the role

Integrator TIK (Information & Communication Technology) is a cross-school position serving students and teachers. The individual in this position is a caring, approachable person capable of encouraging, developing, and supporting the improvement of ICT-based teaching skills among teachers. The ICT Integrator has a strong technical background and adequate teaching experience to serve as a model for effective ICT use in the classroom. This position requires a motivated and forward-thinking leader who actively seeks opportunities to improve the effectiveness of technology as a teaching and learning tool. The ICT Integrator works collaboratively with class-level teams, specialist teachers, school leaders, and ICT staff.

Key responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong commitment to continuous personal growth and development of skills and technical processes

• Act as an early innovator by staying current with ICT developments and sharing insights with fellow teachers

• Document and maintain clear policies and operational procedures related to ICT implementation and management

• Build relationships of mutual trust and respect with all school stakeholders and service providers

• Use the YPJ Teacher Appraisal system to set professional goals for self-development

• Facilitate professional development of fellow teachers in ICT through mentoring, training, and collaborative learning activities

• Support teachers in identifying and implementing best practices for technology integration into the curriculum through modeling, learning demonstrations, team teaching, and collaborative planning

• Ensure student learning progress is measured according to ISTE Standards for Students and ICT integration in the IB curriculum

• Provide practical advice and training to parents regarding ICT use at home and responsible digital literacy

About you

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Information Technology Education / ICT Education and/or Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems, preferably with minimum 2 years of teaching experience

• Proficient in MS Office

• Proficient in MS Windows 7, Apple iOS, and Android operating systems

• Experienced in using computers, laptops, tablets, cameras, projectors, and webcams

• Basic skills in photography and videography

• Good organizational skills in scheduling and time management

• Ability to speak publicly and train peers

• Good written and oral communication skills

• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
