Head Staff / Floor Manager

About the role

This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll be responsible for keeping the entire floor running smoothly, from the team and service to guest experience and daily operations. You'll take full ownership, stay sharp, and be ready to step in whenever the situation needs it.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the team throughout daily restaurant operations

• Take full ownership of the floor and make sure everything runs smoothly, especially during peak hours

• Make sure service, cleanliness, SOPs, and brand standards are consistently on point

• Run daily briefings, assign tasks, monitor staff performance, and follow up when things need to be improved

• Train, guide, and develop the team while maintaining a strong work ethic and good team culture

• Handle customer complaints, operational issues, and unexpected situations calmly and professionally

• Be the go-to person between the team and management — making sure information, instructions, and issues are communicated clearly

• Be hands-on during busy hours and jump into operations whenever needed

• Help maintain team discipline, service quality, and overall restaurant standards

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in F&B / restaurant operations, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role

• Strong leadership and people-management skills

• Able to lead a team while still being hands-on and involved in the operation

• Responsible, reliable, proactive, and accountable

• Great communication and hospitality skills

• Able to handle pressure, multitask, and make quick decisions when things get busy

• Comfortable taking ownership and being responsible for the overall floor

• Good problem-solver — sees the issue, figures it out, and takes action

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and good energy
