About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance Accounting & Tax to join our team on a full-time basis in Surabaya, East Java. In this strategic leadership position, you will oversee all financial accounting operations, tax compliance, and financial reporting functions for the organisation. You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial records, regulatory compliance, and providing senior management with timely financial insights to support business decision-making. This position reports directly to senior management and is integral to the organisation's financial health and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Finance – AR & AP Department and Accounting & Tax Department.

• Ensure effective management of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, cash flow, accounting, financial reporting, and taxation.

• Monitor the company's cash flow and working capital to ensure sufficient liquidity for business operations.

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.

• Oversee tax compliance and ensure timely and accurate tax reporting in accordance with applicable regulations.

• Monitor the company's financial performance, budget, and actual results, and provide analysis to management.

• Ensure proper financial policies, procedures, and internal controls are implemented and maintained.

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and other external parties as required.

• Provide financial information and recommendations to management for business decision-making.

• Identify financial, accounting, and tax risks and ensure appropriate actions are taken.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable tax regulations.

• Lead, develop, and evaluate the Finance, Accounting & Tax team to achieve departmental objectives, continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in accounting and finance management, with at least 5 years as a FAT manager at manufacturing company

• Extensive knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards (SAK/IFRS), tax regulations and compliance requirements

• Strong expertise in financial statement preparation, financial analysis and reporting

• Proven experience in tax planning, tax compliance and management of tax obligations

• Proficiency with accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling

• Excellent understanding of internal controls, audit procedures and regulatory compliance

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to mentor and develop junior staff

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in both Indonesian and English languages

• Integrity, discretion and the ability to handle confidential financial information with professionalism
