Guidance Counselor

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Guidance Counselor to support Junior and Senior High School students in planning their higher education and future careers. The successful candidate will guide students through university admissions, career exploration, and academic pathway planning while building strong partnerships with universities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide academic, career, and university guidance to Junior and Senior High School students.

• Support students in identifying their academic strengths, interests, career aspirations, and suitable university pathways.

• Guide students through university applications, admission requirements, scholarships, and enrollment processes.

• Provide up-to-date information on local and international universities, academic programs, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities.

• Build and maintain partnerships with local and international universities.

• Organize university fairs, career talks, campus visits, and student development programs.

• Collaborate with students, parents, teachers, and school leaders to support students' higher education goals.

• Maintain accurate records of student university applications and counseling activities.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Guidance & Counseling, Education, or a related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in university counseling, career counseling, or guidance counseling.

• Strong knowledge of local and international university admission processes.

• Experience in building partnerships with universities is an advantage.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficient in English, both spoken and written.

• Able to work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and staff.
