English Teacher – Early Years (EY)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher to teach students in the Early Years (EY) level. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and have the ability to create a fun, engaging, and supportive learning environment that promotes young children's language development and early learning skills.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons appropriate for Early Years students.

• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and classroom activities based on the school curriculum.

• Develop students' English language skills, including listening, speaking, vocabulary, and early literacy.

• Use songs, stories, games, and interactive activities to support children's learning and development.

• Monitor students' learning progress and provide appropriate feedback.

• Create a safe, positive, and nurturing classroom environment.

• Communicate with parents and collaborate with colleagues to support students' development.

• Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, English Education, or a related field.

• Minimum 4–5 years of teaching experience, preferably in Early Years or Kindergarten.

• Previous teaching experience in a Cambridge-curriculum school is preferred.

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

• Good understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate teaching methods.

• Experience teaching in an international school is an advantage.

• Patient, creative, caring, and able to manage a young learners' classroom effectively.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
