Finance Planning & Analysis Manager

Responsibility:

• Developing and managing annual and rolling financial forecasts and budgets across the organisation

• Conducting variance analysis and investigating significant deviations from budget and forecast projections

• Preparing and presenting financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders

• Providing financial modelling and scenario analysis to support strategic business initiatives and investment decisions

• Collaborating with operational departments to understand business drivers and translate them into financial planning frameworks

• Monitoring key performance indicators and financial metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement

• Implementing and enhancing financial planning processes, systems, and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy

• Supporting the month-end and year-end close processes with timely and accurate financial analysis

• Leading and mentoring junior finance team members, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field

• 5+ years of professional experience in financial planning and analysis, management accounting, or similar financial analysis roles

• Strong proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting techniques, and scenario planning

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and demonstrated experience with financial planning software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial reporting standards

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail

• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information to non-financial audiences

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Professional accounting qualifications (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) are highly desirable

• Experience in a similar industry or working within a multinational organisation would be advantageous
