About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance, Accounting and Tax Manager to join our team in Jakarta on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial accounting, reporting, and tax compliance functions for the organization. You will play a crucial strategic role in ensuring accurate financial records, regulatory compliance, and the optimization of our tax position. This position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership capabilities who can manage complex financial operations whilst maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements

• Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including corporate income tax, value-added tax, and other statutory obligations

• Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and consistency across financial operations

• Lead and supervise the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance management

• Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management

• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts and investigation of discrepancies

• Maintain relationships with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies

• Monitor changes in accounting standards and tax regulations, ensuring the organisation remains compliant

• Prepare tax planning strategies to optimise the company's tax position within legal and ethical boundaries

• Manage the accounting function budget and resources efficiently

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CA, CPA, or equivalent are highly desirable

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience in financial accounting, reporting, and tax management within a corporate environment

• Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards, tax legislation, and regulatory requirements

• Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems; experience with ERP systems is advantageous

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data

• Strong leadership and team management capabilities with experience supervising accounting personnel

• Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all financial matters

• Excellent communication skills in both Indonesian and English, with the ability to present financial information to various stakeholders

• Demonstrated understanding of corporate governance, internal controls, and compliance requirements

• Proactive approach to continuous professional development and staying current with industry best practices
