Fortune Yachts Bali is a yacht manufacturing and finishing company located in Gianyar, Bali, specializing in high-quality marine craftsmanship and innovative design.

Role Description

• The Fiberglass Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Gianyar, responsible for overseeing all fiberglass production activities in the workshop.

• Coordinates daily work schedules, assigns tasks to fiberglass technicians, and monitors progress to ensure projects meet quality, safety, and timeline requirements. This role includes inspecting molds and finished parts, guiding laminating, repair, and finishing processes, and resolving technical issues on the production floor.

• Trains and mentors team members on proper fiberglass handling, resin mixing, and application techniques, while enforcing safety protocols and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

• Collaborates with production management, quality control, and design teams to improve processes, optimize material usage, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in fiberglass fabrication, laminating, and repair within marine or related composite manufacturing environments.

• Knowledge of resin systems, reinforcement materials, mold preparation, lay-up techniques, and finishing processes.

• Proven ability to supervise production teams, delegate tasks, monitor performance, and provide clear, constructive feedback.

• Understanding of workplace safety standards, safe handling of chemicals and materials, and compliance with relevant regulations.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions related to fiberglass components.

• Good organizational and time-management skills to coordinate multiple projects and meet production deadlines.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a workshop environment.

• Hands-on approach and willingness to assist with complex or high-priority fiberglass tasks when needed.

• Previous experience in yacht or boatbuilding is highly beneficial; experience in other composite industries is also valued.

• High school diploma or vocational/technical certificate in boatbuilding, composites, or related field preferred.
