Dedicated Sales staff for Chinese Client (Mandarin Translator)

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire Chinese manufacturing and trading clients operating in Indonesia.

• Visit prospective clients, assess their logistics needs, prepare quotations, negotiate terms, and close contracts.

• Develop proposals covering ocean and air freight, customs clearance, inland transportation, and warehousing.

• Work with the operations team to support new clients and manage ongoing business relationships.

• Track sales opportunities and new business results.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in import and export logistics.

• A proven ability to proactively find new clients and lead the sales process through to contract signing.

• Advanced Chinese communication skills, including the ability to conduct client meetings, present proposals, and negotiate.

• A solid understanding of logistics quotations and import and export processes.

• The ability to communicate effectively in Indonesian with internal teams and local partners.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Chinese clients through previous sales activities, with ongoing relationships with those clients.

• An established network among Chinese companies or the local Chinese business community.

• Intermediate or higher English communication skills.

• Sales experience in freight forwarding, customs clearance, warehousing, or services for manufacturing clients.
