Cook / Chef for Private Residence

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cook / Chef to join a private family residence in Bali.

This is a household position, not a restaurant or hotel role. We are looking for someone who enjoys preparing fresh, simple and delicious meals for a family and can comfortably manage the kitchen independently.

Responsibilities

- Prepare daily meals for the family

- Cook a variety of Indonesian and Western dishes

- Prepare simple, healthy and well-balanced meals

- Occasionally prepare meals when family guests are staying

- Plan meals and communicate grocery requirements

- Check kitchen ingredients and stock

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen

- Store food correctly and maintain good hygiene standards

- Be flexible with reasonable changes in meal times or family requirements

Requirements

- Previous experience as a cook, chef or in a similar household role

- Able to cook both Indonesian and basic Western food

- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food handling

- Clean, organized and responsible

- Honest, reliable and able to work independently

- Able to communicate and coordinate well with other household staff

- Basic English is an advantage

- No formal culinary qualification is required

Location: Ubud, Bali.

Position: Full-time

Salary: Up to IDR 7,000,000/month, depending on experience
